Tracy Hayes
Tracy Hayes received her Ph.D. from the Open University in 2017 for a thesis investigating masculinities in the novels of Thomas Hardy. She has published book chapters and numerous articles on Hardy, Edgar Allan Poe and M. R. James, including in DNHAS Proceedings, Palgrave Communications and RRR: Romance, Revolution and Reform. Her current research project focuses on Gothic masculinity in the short stories of Hardy, Poe and M. R. James. She is the secretary of the Thomas Hardy Society, and a lecturer for The Brilliant Club (United Kingdom).
