Dr Lyn Marven is senior lecturer in German at the University of Liverpool, and a translator of contemporary German-language literature. She specializes in contemporary German-language literature, particularly by women writers, and has written extensively about Nobel Laureate Herta Müller. She is currently working on anthologies of Berlin literature. Her publications include the co-edited volumes Emerging German-Language Novelists of the Twenty-First Century (Camden House, 2011) and Herta Müller (OUP, 2013) as well as forthcoming co-edited volumes on Ulrike Draesner (de Gruyter) and, together with Andrew Plowman and Kate Roy, the short story in German in the twenty-first century (Camden House) and three volumes of short story translations: Maike Wetzel, Long Days (Comma Press, 2008), Helen Constantine, Berlin Tales (OUP, 2009) and Larissa Boehning, Swallow Summer (Comma Press, 2016).
