Trina Cooper-Bolam
Trina Cooper-Bolam is a settler living on unceded Algonquin territory. She holds a PhD in Cultural Mediations and an MA in Canadian Studies from Carleton University. Her areas of disciplinary focus are critical heritage studies, critical museology, and memory studies. Previously, Cooper-Bolam held senior positions at the Aboriginal Healing and Legacy of Hope Foundations–organizations working to transform the legacy of Indian residential schools. She has consulted for Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada, the Canadian Museum of History, and the Assembly of First Nations. A public scholar with a curatorial/design practice, Trina balances teaching with Survivor-led exhibition-development.
