Tru Paraha
Tru Paraha is a professional choreographer, dramaturg, writer and director of contemporary performance. Her commissioned group choreographies and collaborative works extend across visual arts, dance, film, poetry, music, live art and spatial design. A graduate of the New Zealand School of Dance, Tru has toured extensively to international festivals and residencies as an independent artist and former company member of Mau Dance. Her poetry and performance writings are published across numerous digital and page-based platforms. She currently works as a research fellow at the University of Auckland specializing in artistic research and transcultural poetry and poetics.
