Uchenna Bethrand Anih

Uchenna Bethrand Anih is a senior lecturer of Francophone African literature, Department of Foreign Languages at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria. He is a fellow of African Humanities Program (2018) of the American Council of Learned Societies (ACLS). His articles have appeared in Matatu: Journal for African Culture and Society, International Journal of Francophone Studies, ODU: A Journal of West Africa and Ife Journal of Foreign Languages. His most recent co-authored article, ‘Une réévaluation esthétique du handicap à partir de romans francophones africains’ was published by Sociotexte: Revue de sociologie de l’Afrique littéraire (2022). He is currently working on the paradoxical representation of childhood in the works of Camara Laye and Ahmadou Kourouma.
