Ulla Ræbild
Ulla Ræbild works as an associate professor in the Lab for Sustainability and Design at Design School Kolding, Denmark, where she supervises and teaches at BA, MA and Ph.D. level. She has a background in fashion design and holds a Ph.D. in fashion design methodology (2015). Her research interests lie at the intersection of fashion design for sustainability, curriculum development, design pedagogics and fashion design practice with a strong focus on new roles and engagements for fashion designers in companies, organizations and society at large to support and accelerate green transitions. Ræbild has led the development of Design for Planet, a multi-disciplinary MA programme in design and sustainability at Design School Kolding (2018). As part of her research, Ræbild has co-authored two open-source tools, Sustainable Design Cards with lifetime and circular design strategies and Material Pathways building awareness and reflection on materials role in design.
