Una McGahern
Una McGahern obtained her Ph.D. in Government and International Affairs at Durham University. Her research interests include state–minority relations in the Middle East, Israeli society and, in particular, the political activity and communication strategies of the Palestinian Arab minority in Israel. To date, her work has been published in the Journal of Mediterranean Politics and her first book, Palestinian Christians in Israel: Non-Muslims in a Jewish State, was published by Routledge in September 2011. She is currently a visiting research fellow at Durham University and part-time lecturer in Middle East Politics at Newcastle University.
