Úrsula Freundt-Thurne
Úrsula Freundt-Thurne has a Ph.D. in Business Administration and Management from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, Barcelona, Spain. Her doctoral thesis discussed the importance of having an instrument for measuring journalistic confidence, applying the instrument in well-known print media of Peruvian national circulation. She has been director of the Editorial Fund of the Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas (UPC). She is currently the dean of the Faculty of Communications of the Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas (UPC), and a permanent evaluator of the Latin American Accreditation Council on Education in Journalism (CLAEP), a programme administered by the Inter-American Press Association (SIP). She is a professor in the Faculties of Communications and Health Sciences.
