Ute Aurand (1957, Germany) has been a 16-mm filmmaker since 1980, and is a curator and teacher. Her films are shown internationally. In 1997, she co-founded the group FilmSamstag. In 2015 she founded a Bolex workshop at the Deutsche Film- und Fernsehakademie Berlin.
