Valerie Imbruce

Valerie Imbruce is the director of the External Scholarships and Undergraduate Research Center and is affiliated faculty of environmental studies at Binghamton University, State University of New York. Her interests include the influence of immigration on food systems, urban food environments and associated agricultural practices, interdisciplinary teaching and learning, and undergraduate education. She has taught at City University of New York and Bennington College in Vermont. Her research and educational initiatives are supported by the National Science Foundation, US Department of Education, the National Endowment of the Humanities and the Beckman Foundation.
