Vanessa Ossa
Dr Vanessa Ossa is a postdoctoral research associate at the University of Applied Science in Cologne, Germany. She is the co-editor of the edited collection Comics and Agency (2022) as well as the special issue Fandom and Comics (2020) in the journal Participations. Her current research interests include participatory culture, comic book fandom and fictional characters in (digital) fan communities. She is a member of the German Society for Comic Studies (ComFor) and currently serves as editorial staff for their website and as part of the executive board.
