Verity Burke

Verity Burke is a researcher of literary and museum culture from nineteenth century to present, with particular interests in museum narrative, natural history and displaying the body. This research was made possible through funding from the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AH/R013780/1) of a role as postdoctoral researcher on ‘Narrativising Dinosaurs: Science and Popular Culture from 1850 to Present’. She is currently postdoctoral researcher on ‘Beyond Dodos and Dinosaurs: Displaying Extinction and Recovery in Museums’, a Norwegian Research Council project at the University of Stavanger, Norway.
