Vésma Kontere McQuillan

McQuillan, an architect, journalist and critic, dedicates her research to exploring the relationship between architecture and fashion. In 2020, she published her first book, titled Fashion Spaces: A Theoretical View, with FRAME Publishers, marking this area as the focal point of her research. She is convinced that a fashion show is a spatial typology that profoundly reveals the interconnections between both disciplines. She contributes to a variety of platforms, ranging from widely read outlets like Wallpaper* magazine to architectural professional publications such as FRAME magazine, and scholarly journals, bridging the gap between architecture and fashion.
