Vicky Abad is the founder and managing director of Music Beat Australia – home of Boppin’ Babies, one of Australia’s largest music early learning, music therapy and music education programmes for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers. Vicky is a registered music therapist with extensive national and international clinical experience in paediatric and early intervention music therapy and music early learning. She holds an undergraduate degree in music, postgraduate degree in music therapy, master’s degree in education (research) and Ph.D. in music early learning and music therapy. Vicky has played an important role as a pioneering clinician and researcher in the field of music therapy, having established more than 30 positions and created employment for more than 200 clinicians. She has also been actively involved in ongoing student mentorship, research and teaching.
