Vicky Wong
Dr Wong Wing Kei Vicky is the head of the Department of Education at HKCT Institute of Higher Education (CTIHE), with a diverse educational background and extensive experience in the field of education. She holds a Doctor of Education from Hong Kong Baptist University, a Master of Education (ECE) from The University of Hong Kong and a diploma in early childhood education from Seneca College in Canada. Dr Wong’s expertise in education has been recognized through numerous awards and accolades. She was honoured with the Outstanding Teacher Award by the Caritas Institute of Education in 2019. In addition, she has obtained certifications in developmental psychology and Orff Schulwerk. Dr Wong’s dedication to education extends beyond her institutional roles. She has served as an external examiner for various educational programmes under different institutions. Furthermore, she has published extensively on children’s behaviour, metacognition and curriculum development. Outside of her professional endeavours, Dr Wong actively engages in public service as the academic director/advisor for the EDC Learning Center and holds editorial positions in organizations like PECERA. Her unwavering commitment to enhancing early childhood education in Hong Kong’s educational landscape.
