Viktoria Paranyuk
Viktoria Paranyuk is lecturer in the Department of Film and Screen Studies at Pace University in New York City and a freelance film programmer. Her research interests cover Soviet film and film culture, theories of realism and modernism, women’s contributions to cinema and representations of interiority on-screen. She has published articles in the journals Film History, Slavic Review and Senses of Cinema. She is completing her book The Cinema of Sincerity: Soviet Films and Culture after Stalin.
