Vladimir Stolojan-filipesco

Vladimir Stolojan-filipesco defended his Ph.D. thesis on September 2017 at the Paris Diderot University (now University of Paris). His work explores the divergent, often conflicting, public remembrances of the post-war single-party regime by tracing the politics of memory related to the Kuomintang dictatorship enacted after the lifting of martial law in 1987. He has since conducted three post-doctoral projects on Taiwanese transitional justice at Taiwan Foundation for Democracy, the Chiang Ching-kuo Foundation for International Scholarly Exchanges and Academia Sinica, Institute of Sociology. He is currently an associate researcher of the CESSMA, Paris University, and a visiting fellow at Academia Sinica, Institute of Sociology.
