Vojislava Filipcevic Cordes
Vojislava Filipcevic Cordes holds a Ph.D. in Urban Planning from Columbia University and was the 2010–11 Paul E. Raether Postdoctoral Fellow in Urban and Global Studies at Trinity College and a Research Associate for the late Dr Benjamin Barber at Fordham University. Initial research for this article was completed while she was a Visiting Fellow at The Interdisciplinary Center for Innovative Theory and Empirics (INCITE) at Columbia University. She has published in Planning Practice and Research, Urban Science, Quarterly Review of Film and Video, Jump Cut, Culture, Theory and Critique, the Columbia Journal of American Studies, Film Criticism and Cineaste, and her work is forthcoming in the Critical Planning Journal and in the Critical Issues in Justice and Politics Journal. She is currently teaching Urban Sociology at John Jay College.
