W. C. Harris
W. C. Harris is a professor of English at Shippensburg University, teaching queer studies, structural grammar and film studies (especially film noir, the woman’s film and links between camp and melodrama). He earned a Ph.D. from Johns Hopkins University in 2000. His publications include Queer Externalities: Hazardous Encounters in American Culture (SUNY Press, 2009), Slouching Towards Gaytheism: Christianity and Queer Survival in America (SUNY Press, 2014), and articles in Eighteenth-Century Fiction and The Journal of Homosexuality.
