Wendy Lathrop Meyer
Wendy Lathrop Meyer is associate professor in drama and theatre in the teacher-training programme at Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences. She has worked in Tanzania with artistic educational activity since 2005, and from 2006 until 2011 was the academic/professional project leader for the Norad programme in arts and cultural education, ‘Community Based Arts: Regaining and Modernizing Cultural Heritage Education and Professionalizing the Community Artist’. From 2014 until 2017, she was involved in the Norwegian national research project ‘Drama–Theatre–Democracy’. Her research is focused on how drama can contribute to promoting active citizenship and gender equality.
