William Schulte
William Schulte is an associate professor of mass communication at Winthrop University in Rock Hill South Carolina. Schulte teaches courses in media writing, feature writing, advanced reporting, public affairs reporting and multimedia. He is a former journalist and his research interests involve the paradigm shift between print and digital platforms in the modern newsroom and the effects these transitions have on news workers. Schulte has presented work at several national and international conferences. He is the author of the book Social Construction and News Work: Newsworkers, Civic Function, and Resistance in the Changing Media World.
