Wimal Dissanayake
Wimal Dissanayake is an affiliate professor in the Academy for Creative Media at the University of Hawaii and an honorary professor at the Open University of Hong Kong. He is the author of several books on Asian cinema published by such prestigious presses as Oxford and Cambridge University Presses and Routledge. He is the founding editor of the East-West Film Journal. He has been honoured with a D.Ltt. and the highest literary award given by the State of Sri Lanka.
