Wojciech Bedyński
Wojciech Bedyński, Ph.D., is a historian and anthropologist, an assistant professor in the Centre of Migration Studies at the University of Warsaw, and an alumnus of the University of Rzeszów and the Paris IV-Sorbonne University. He is a member of the International Society for the Study of Religion, Nature and Culture. His main academic interests focus on cultural landscapes, including sacral landscapes, memory of interethnic relations in pre-war small towns of the eastern Galicia region and on the popular religiosity. He has authored a number of articles and books on the cultural landscapes, history of Polish–Jewish relations, early Irish monasticism, and has given lectures, inter alia, at the University of Warsaw, the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, University of Banska Bystrica. He loves to travel for both academic and non-academic reasons.
