Ziad Jamaleddine

Ziad Jamaleddine is an assistant professor at the Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation and co-founder of L.E.FT Architects (Beirut/New York). His writings have been published in Places Journal and Journal of Material Cultures in the Muslim World. His historical research on the architecture of the mosque has been exhibited at several arts and architecture venues, including the Sharjah Architecture Triennale (2019), and the Jeddah Islamic Arts Biennale (2023). Among his built projects are the award-winning Shakib Arslan Mosque, Lebanon (2017), and the Office of Religious and Spiritual Life and Contemplative Practices, Vassar College, New York (2023).
