Agnieszka Rydzik

Agnieszka Rydzik is an associate professor of tourism and work. Her research focuses on the precarization of work; gender, migration and worker agency and place attachment and social justice. She has published on the employment experiences of migrant women in hospitality, women brewers’ identity work; the implications of technology-driven transformations on tourism workers and the socialization experiences of working students in hospitality. She is interested in community-based research, and visual and participatory methodologies, and is passionate about creating more just and inclusive workplaces, communities and institutions. Her current research explores technological change and the future of hospitality work.
