Ane Larrinaga

Ane Larrinaga holds a Ph.D. in sociology and political science. She is a member of the research group called PARTE HARTUZ, specialized in the study of democracy, political participation, gender and nationalism. Her lines of research have been developed mainly around the issues of ethnicity, social movements and nationalism, on the one hand, and around the issues of political participation and gender, on the other, on which she has published various articles. Her latest research analyses the political learning of young Basque people in the period following the disappearance of the armed activity of the ETA organization in the Spanish Basque Country. Currently she is collaborating in research on social organization of care in the municipality of Bilbao.
