Claire French
Claire French is a researcher and performance maker who develops dramaturgies and methodologies for multilingual performance with minoritized languages. She has been guided by multilingual storytellers in her performance practice across Australia, Germany, the UK and South Africa for almost two decades, of late most pursuing dramaturgy and writing with communities. Claire has recently been leading the MA Applied Artists programme in her role as assistant professor in performance at the University of Birmingham, UK. She is now based at Aarhus University, Denmark, and building a new practitioner-led multilingual theatre research network.
