Fanglin Wang
Fanglin Wang received an MA in communication, culture and technology at Georgetown University. Her research interests include national cinema theory and Japanese films’ reflections of its war trauma in the post-Second World War era, specifically how the war trauma gets expressed through the sensibility and sentimentality of maternal figures’ gendered bodies in 1940s–60s hahamono films.
