Francesc Galera
Francesc Galera holds a Ph.D. in translation and cultural studies and is a lecturer in the Department of Translation and Interpreting and East Asian Studies of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). He specialises in literary translation into Catalan in the twentieth and twenty-first centuries, especially in history of translation, exile, otherness and postcolonialism in the Catalan culture. He is a member of the UAB-based research group Grup d’Estudi de la Traducció Catalana Contemporània (GETCC).
