Georg Weisseno
Georg Weisseno was professor of political science and its didactics at Karlsruhe University of Education with key interests in citizenship education, education policy, evaluation methodologies and quantitative research. He has been a civics education teacher working at secondary schools. Prior to joining Karlsruhe University of Education in 1999, Georg worked from 1995 to 1999 at the University of Wuppertal. His expertise extends to programme evaluation, research management and methodologies. His collaborative work ranges across European and national agencies, and he has led international events, publishing articles and books on citizenship education. He served from 2002 to 2006 as chair of the German Society for Civic Education Didactics and Civic Youth and Adult Education (GPJE).
