Graham Ley

Graham Ley is an emeritus professor of drama and theory at the University of Exeter. He is the author of books and essays on Greek tragedy, British Asian theatre and performance theories, and has for many years been teaching a module on cultural adaptation for the MA programme in the Drama Department at Exeter. His two earlier studies on this theme, ‘Discursive embodiment: The theatre as adaptation’ and ‘Cultural adaptation’ were both published in issues of this journal: 2:3 (2009), pp. 201–09 and 8:1 (2015), pp. 23–38, respectively.
