Jay Manicom

Jay Manicom holds a BA in anthropology from Concordia University and is pursuing an MA in anthropology at the same institution. Jay’s research involves far-right extremism, online male-supremacist movements and the alt-right. Other research interests include new forms of family and relationships; modern western myths and belief systems and democracy and the state. Jay holds a 2017 Joseph Armand Bombardier scholarship and is the recipient of a 2018 Storytellers award, both from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada.
