Kathryn Grushka

Dr Kathryn Grushka is a nationally recognized visual arts educator, a researcher, a curriculum writer and a visual artist working in Australia. She has been a long-time and active member of InSEA. Her research draws on arts-based methods, narrative and methodologies as they inform artmaking through critical and social inquiry; subjectivity or identity insights; embodied learning; and visual performative pedagogies. More recently, she has been working globally with creative arts-based researchers seeking to make strong links between arts education, arts pedagogies and links to student healing and well-being. Kathryn currently sits on international and national editorial teams for visual art and teacher education journals.
