Kenneth Kaplan
With experience in film and television production in Africa, Asia and North America, Kenneth Kaplan is credited in various roles as a writer, producer and director on narrative feature films that have screened at the world’s leading international film festivals. He has written and directed episodic drama and documentary productions for television networks in South Africa and the United States. His work as co-creator and showrunner on two reality-based TV shows about youth development and health issues in sub-Saharan Africa was recognized by UNESCO and aired by 31 African broadcasters. He completed his doctoral research in the Film and TV Department at Wits University where he teaches courses in directing, producing and writing.
