Lee Miller

Lee Miller is a researcher, educator and performer with an abiding interest in the dynamic space between performers and audiences. Born in 1973 in Bury, Greater Manchester, United Kingdom, Lee grew up in a family where storytelling was a shared joy and a vivid art form – stories to delight, scare and provoke curiosity. These early experiences inspired Lee’s passion for performance and his exploration of how shared moments can resonate deeply with audiences. Now based in Cornwall, Lee works at Falmouth University, where his research investigates immersive audience practices and the interplay of creativity and technology. His work is shaped by a commitment to inclusion, accessibility, and the unique potential of the arts to forge connections and challenge conventions.
