Maria Chiara Oltolini
Maria Chiara Oltolini has a BA, MA and Ph.D. from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore of Milan, where she has been working as a teaching assistant in semiotics and history, and language of international cinema since 2016. Her research interests include adaptation as a form of intermedia and intercultural expression, focusing on the relationships between Japanese animation and children’s literature. She is also a screenwriter for animation, a script consultant and an author of kids’ content, living and working in both Italy and the United Kingdom. She occasionally works as a translator and writes movie and series reviews for various magazines.
