Mathew Reichertz
A multidisciplinary team from NSCAD University and Dalhousie University grounded in art education and cognitive science and interested in observational drawing behaviours and instruction, formed the NSCAD Drawing Laboratory. Our mission has been to apply the methods and tools of experimental psychology to answer questions that arise during instruction in the context of a drawing studio. Our research, when funded, has been made possible by grants from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada.
