Māra Urdziņa-Deruma
Dr Māra Urdziņa-Deruma is an associate professor in the Faculty of Education, Psychology and Art at the University of Latvia. Her scientific interests include textile education, design and technologies education, and arts pedagogy. She has developed and taught courses in design and technologies and its teaching methodologies and art pedagogy in various bachelor, first- and second-level teacher education programmes. Since 1996, she has organized eight National Olympiads and sixteen Open Olympiads in home economics and design and technology.
