Raffaele Passaro

Raffaele Passaro is a Ph.D. student in management, production and design. His research is called ‘Food social design: Design against food poverty’. He works on projects concerning social inclusion in urban contexts of social marginality, investigating the various aspects inherent to the phenomenon of food poverty. Since 2019 he is coordinator of the Politecnico di Torino ‘Food Design Lab’ and since 2016 he collaborates in the project ‘Fighting Food Waste Design Focus’, of the Department of Architecture and Design of the Politecnico di Torino. Also since 2021 he is an adjunct professor at the three-year degree in design and communication of the Politecnico di Torino.
