Rosemary Cohane Erpf

Rosemary Cohane Erpf, PhD is a teacher, gallerist, curator, and consultant in Modern and Contemporary Art. She obtained her doctoral degree in Art History from the Graduate School & University Center of the City University of New York, her MA degree from Tufts University in Medford, MA, and her BA at Boston University in Boston, MA. She has been a Professor of Art History at The School of Visual Arts, NYC, Long Island University Brookville, NY; and Savannah College of Art & Design, Atlanta, GA. She received a fellowship to study at the American Academy in Rome where she researched the Italian Transavanguardia movement. She has given papers at both the annual conferences of the College Art Association and SECAC, along with lectures at various art organizations and schools. She was the founder and director of R. C. Erpf Gallery in New York and a gallery director at the Marian Goodman Gallery.
