SAJ is a community organizer, educator and scholar of culture and power, with a focus on the abolition of racial capitalism. They are a co-editor of the cultural studies journal Lateral, and they have published in the Journal of Dramatic Theory and Criticism, Cultural Dynamics and Global Performance Studies, as well as in edited collections.
