Shane H. Weathers
Shane H. Weathers is a second-year doctoral student in American culture studies at Bowling Green State University. His research specializations are genre theory, horror and slasher studies, James Bond studies, Buffy studies and comparative analysis within film franchises. Shane has previously published on The Texas Chainsaw Massacre franchise and has publications pending on the Rocky franchise, toxic masculinity in Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Russell Crowe’s performances in the horror genre. Shane has also worked for the Journal of Film and Video and is currently editing a volume of essays on The Texas Chainsaw Massacre franchise in honour of its 50th anniversary.
