Tanveer Ahmed

Tanveer (she/her) is a practice-led fashion design researcher and anti-racist educator exploring ways to expose and re-think dominant Eurocentric racial hierarchies used in the fashion design process. As senior lecturer in fashion and race at Central Saint Martins, she is working across the fashion programme to support decolonial fashion perspectives and is currently a final year AHRC funded part-time Ph.D. candidate at The Open University, investigating how White normativity excludes non-Eurocentric fashion design epistemologies in fashion design pedagogies.
