Tracey Mollet

Tracey Mollet is a lecturer in media and communication at the University of Leeds. Her work focuses on the relationship between American popular culture, history and cultural identity. She is the author of Cartoons in Hard Times: The Animated Shorts of Disney and Warner Brothers in Depression and War 1932–1945 (Bloomsbury Academic, 2017). Her writing has appeared in edited volumes such as Debating Disney: Pedagogical Perspectives on Commercial Cinema (Rowman and Littlefield, 2016) and she has presented widely on the connection between Disney fairy tales and the American Dream.
