Trudy Pauluth-Penner

Trudy Pauluth-Penner is an assistant adjunct professor in applied theatre at the University of Victoria, British Columbia, sessional instructor and affiliate with the Institute on Aging and Lifelong Health at the University of Victoria. She specializes in intergenerational applied theatre arts practice and research. Trudy’s research interests include social dimensions of health and interdisciplinary community-based arts for health and well-being across diverse populations. She is the recipient of the Society for the Arts in Healthcare Blair Sadler International Healing Arts Award. Recent publications include book chapters in Applied Theatre: Ethics (Sadeghi-Yekta and Prendergast 2022), Web of Performance: An Ensemble Workbook (Prendergast and Weigler 2018) and Research-based Theatre: An Artistic Methodology (Belliveau and Lea 2016).
