Xi W. Liu
Dr Xi W. Liu is a teaching associate at the School of East Asian Studies at the University of Sheffield. Xi’s research engages with Chinese cinema, film aesthetics and affect theory and has broad research interests in screen and media studies. Xi’s works focus on the display of affect, sensation and perception in various visual forms. She recently published her articles in the peer-reviewed journals Studies in Documentary Film and East Asian Journal of Popular Culture.
