Xiyuan Tan
Xiyuan Tan is currently a Ph.D. researcher at the School of Design and Creative Arts, Loughborough University, UK. The practice-based Ph.D. project investigates contemporary visual representation of the Zhuang ethnic minority group in Mainland China, exploring the role of character design in culture representation through graphic narratives. Xiyuan has previously published articles in areas of comic studies and Chinese ethnic minority women representation.
