Zahra Ahari

Zahra Ahari holds a Ph.D. in urban planning from the College of Fine Arts, Tehran University. She is an associate professor at Shahid Beheshti University’s Centre for Documentation Architectural Studies, and Preservation, in the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning. Her fields of interest include the history and theory of Iranian architecture and urbanism. She has published several books on the history of urbanism in Iran, a book on the experiences of modernity in Iran’s urban spaces, and several articles on urban issues in Iran.
