Alexa Scarlata
Alexa Scarlata is a lecturer in digital communication at RMIT University and an affiliate member of the ADM+S Centre. With qualifications in law and global media communications, her research considers the dynamics of online TV catalogues and interfaces, the smart TV platform ecosystem, Australian television production, TV audience behaviour and the development of media policy in these areas. Alexa is the reviews editor of the Journal of Digital Media and Policy and her monograph, Pivoting and Producing: The Early Years of Online TV in Australia (2025), is under contract with Routledge.
