Petros Iosifidis
Petros Iosifidis is professor in media policy and associate dean EDI at City St George’s, University of London, United Kingdom. He has acknowledged expertise in the realms of communications policy, public service media and regulation of social media. He is the author of nine books including Digital Democracy, Social Media and Disinformation (Routledge, 2021; with N. Nicoli), Public Sphere and Mediated Social Networks (Palgrave Macmillan, 2016, with M. Wheeler), Global Media & National Policies (Palgrave Macmillan, 2016, with T. Flew and J. Steemers), Global Media and Communication Policy (Palgrave Macmillan, 2013), Public Television in the Digital Era (Palgrave Macmillan, 2012) and Reinventing Public Service Communication (Palgrave, 2010). He has contributed numerous book chapters and has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals. He has served as an ESRC and AHRC Peer Review College reviewer, as principal editor of the Journal of Digital Media & Policy and founder/co-editor of the Palgrave Global Media Policy and Business.
